Welcome to the AVSQ!

Hi and welcome to our Blog - hopefully we can keep you up to date with our goings on.

Our Annual show is coming up on the 16th and 17th of October and we would love to see you there. It is being held at the Auditorium at the Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Road Toowong Brisbane.

Saturday 11am to 5pm (late start due to judging of plants)

Sunday 10am to 4pm

Entry $3

You will find at our show - lots of plants to buy - but be there on Saturday morning when we open for the best - plants of all sizes are available - even the show plants are mostly for sale (though these cant be collected till the show finishes at 4pm Sunday), we have leaves and potting mix and pots for sale. Members are on hand to answer all your questions! We have a craft table with handmade items by members for sale. Information table with books and info sheets and you can join at the show - $17 for single and $20 family and this will last till the end of next year. Good value.

Refreshments are also available with homemade slices and cake and sandwiches along with tea, coffee and soft drinks.

The Mt Coot-tha gardens are also a lovely place to visit while you are there with lots to see.
